Prescription Verification

Prescription Verification

For U.S. Customers

iQueye is committed to your eye health. Under the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act (FCLCA), all contact lens sellers in the United States are required to verify a valid prescription before fulfilling an order. This page explains how our verification process works.

Outside the U.S.? Prescription requirements vary by country. We recommend consulting your local eye care professional before ordering to ensure you have a current, valid contact lens prescription.

How Does The Process Work?

1. Submit Your Prescription

Email a copy of your valid contact lens prescription to support@iqueye.com with your full name and order ID. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF.

2. Verification with Your Prescriber

Once submitted, we will contact your prescriber to verify the prescription. Please provide your prescriber's name and contact information (email or phone number) so we can reach them promptly.

If we do not receive a response within 8 business hours, your prescription will be automatically considered verified in accordance with FCLCA guidelines.

Business hours are defined as 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, in your prescriber's time zone.

What if I don't have a contact lens prescription?

A contact lens prescription is different from an eyeglasses prescription and must be issued by a licensed eye care professional after a contact lens fitting exam. If you don't have one, we recommend scheduling an eye exam before placing your order.

You can find a licensed eye care provider near you or renew your prescription online through Visibly — an online vision test service that connects you with licensed doctors in about 6 minutes.
